Achieve conservation goals with the Clinton Conservation District Spring Tree Sale

February is a perfect time to set a goal for improving conservation on your land this year. If you’re wanting to add more habitat for wildlife, control erosion or provide a windbreak for your property, or perhaps grow a few of your favorite fruits at home, consider purchasing your plants from the Clinton Conservation District 2022 Spring Tree Sale. This year’s sale features a mix of two dozen native conifers and deciduous trees, a variety of fruit shrubs and trees, and an assortment of planting supplies. All trees and shrubs are sourced from Michigan nurseries.

Funds raised through plant sales and from donations support the conservation district’s mission of providing information and technical assistance to Clinton County citizens to better understand, manage, and protect natural resources.

There are two ways to place an order. Start by visiting https://www.clintonconservation.org/shop and order directly online, or you can download and print an order form from the same link. Order forms can be mailed with a check to the CCD office at 2343 N. US-27, St. Johns, MI 48879. If you would like to pay with cash, call the CCD office at (989) 224-3720 ext. 5 to make an appointment to drop off your order. The due date for all orders is March 18th at 4:00 PM.

Tree pick-up will be held on Friday, April 22 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (location TBD). Trees can also be delivered for a $10.00 fee. Confirmation of your order, as well as the pick-up location for the trees, will be sent in the mail. Because this sale sources from independent growers, supplies may be limited and are issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The Clinton Conservation District team is eager to help you achieve your conservation goals and thanks you for your support!
