The Mid-Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (MM-CISMA) was established in April 2016 by the Ingham Conservation District. This CISMA covers Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, and Ionia counties and creates a partnership between the four county conservation districts and over 25 local organizations.

The MM-CISMA increases our ability to work together across jurisdictional lines, coordinating prevention, early detection and rapid response to invasive species both on land and in our lakes and streams. Through education and outreach, identification and reporting, and treatment of invasive species, we hope to spread the word, not the species.
