Stony Creek Watershed (PL-566):
The Stony Creek Watershed in Clinton County has funding available through a PL-566 grant to install conservation practices that reduce erosion and provide wildlife habitat.

The primary objective of the Stony Creek Watershed PL-566 grant is to identify, develop corrective measures, and implement needed problem solving measures to enhance the water quality and to enhance the public awareness for needed water quality education.

Practices available through PL-566 include: riparian forest buffers, filter strips, stream bank protection, wetland restoration, and grassed waterways.
