Forest & Wildlife Management Assistance: The Clinton Conservation District Forester is available to assist all county residents on nearly all aspects of forestry and wildlife management.
The forester is focused on providing advice to landowners on timber management, wildlife habitat improvement and preparation of management plans so they can make informed decisions regarding timber harvest and other resource management issues on their property.
The Forester can give recommendations regarding species selection and plantings for reforestation and wildlife habitat enhancement, along with providing in-office and on-site assistance to private forest landowners and homeowners dealing with the control of insect, disease, and wildlife pests in woodlots and yards.
If you would like more information about forestry or have forestry related question please feel free to contact John Switzer at the Conservation District office at (989) 224-3720 ext.3 or via email.
