Conservation Innovations Grant (CIG): This is our newest program. It is a cooperative effort with NRCS, Michigan DEQ, Michigan Department of Agriculture and MSU's Institute of Water Research. The grant's focus is on the Maple River Watershed. The CIG Specialist will be helping to shape how the model is developed and working with local land-owners and planners to assess the usefulness of the tool. Part of the CIG Specialist's job is to assist with the Michigan Groundwater Stewardship Program.
