Clinton Conservation District –Executive Director Position
The Clinton Conservation District is seeking a new Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the District. Ideal candidates must have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team setting. A college degree in agriculture or natural resources is strongly preferred. However, extensive experience in a similar position, a position with business management, or non-profit administration experience will be considered. Other highly desired skills include project management, grant writing, natural resource management, agricultural experience, office management/supervisory experience, and some accounting experience.
Starting salary is between $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, plus benefits. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, and sick time and access to an employee retirement saving plan. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm with occasional evening or weekend hours. A full listing of job duties and qualifications can be found in the Position Description.
